DRESS CODE
Sardis Lake Christian Camp's appearance policies are designed without intending to pass judgment on campers, staff members, or others. Defining a dress code in absolute terms is challenging due to the potential for creating loopholes and ambiguous guidelines. One significant issue is that what may be considered modest attire for one individual could be deemed immodest for another based on varying body sizes and shapes.
We must strive to be above reproach! As Paul urges in 1 Timothy 2:9-10, our attire should be modest and appropriate for those who profess to worship God. In essence, all clothing, camper or staff, should reflect modest Christian standards and be in good taste. If there's any doubt about whether an outfit is acceptable, it's probably best to choose something else. Session Directors will ensure the standards at their sessions.
Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in campers, staff, or visitors being asked to change clothes or leave the campus.
